JazaJaza("we", "us", or "our") is operated by Dime Machine Networks. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you use our classified listings platform, including when you browse listings, post adverts, or pay to activate a listing via M-PESA.

• Account and listing details: name, email address, phone number, advert title, description, category, price, location, and photos you submit when posting.
• Payment-related data: phone number used for M-PESA STK push activation, payment status, and transaction references from our payment provider (KopoKopo). We do not store your M-PESA PIN or full mobile money credentials.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data such as pages visited and actions taken on the site.
• Communications: messages you send to us via email or support channels.

We use personal information to:

• Publish and display your listings to other users.
• Process advert activation payments and confirm when a listing becomes active.
• Allow buyers to contact sellers (for example, by revealing your phone number when permitted by the platform).
• Operate, secure, and improve the platform; prevent fraud and abuse; and enforce our Terms of Use.
• Respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
• Comply with applicable law and lawful requests from authorities.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Other users: listing content and contact details you choose to make visible (such as your phone number on an active listing).
• Service providers: hosting, payment (KopoKopo / M-PESA), analytics, and email providers who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
• Legal requirements: when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain listings and payment records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Expired or removed listings may be retained in backups or logs for a limited period before deletion.

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you use the platform at your own risk and should protect your account credentials and device.

Depending on applicable law (including Kenya's Data Protection Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, or to object to certain processing.
